I received my Ph.D. (2012) and M.S. (2009) from the Information Systems Lab of the Electrical Engineering Department at Stanford University, where my advisor was Professor Benjamin Van Roy. My research interests include machine learning and optimization, with a particular focus on their applications in operations research. From 2006 to 2010, I have worked on various data mining projects in Google, Yahoo, and Goldman Sachs. Prior to these, I received my B.S. (2006) in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University.
I am currently a quantitative researcher at Two Sigma Investments.
